"Friends of Father Jardón" was formed in 1987 to support the Cause of Canonization of Father Raymundo, and works since then to spread the knowledge of hís life and to increase devotion to him. On April 3, 1987 thís Society was constituted the following way:
The seat of the Society was the Cathedral. Monthly meetings are held and the first Sunday of the month is celebrated a mass. An amphora in the tomb of Father Jardón was placed to receive information on the favors that are granted by his íntercession. Later on an office in 5 of Mayo 939 Oteo in Monterrey was opened. On 1989 a branch of the Society was based in Tenancingo, Edo. of Mexico, native city of Father Jardón, in charge of Mr. Heriberto Rosales Bobadilla. At this moment the Society has the following Directory:

They distribute approximately to 5.000 stamps with this oration every month, not only in Monterrey but in diverse cities of the Mexican Republic, the United States, Central America, Sud America and Europe. Previous to the mass on the Friday before the first Sunday the Directory meets and in that meeting are taken the agreements relative to the diverse activities from the Cause. Another work in charge of "Friends of Father Jardón" is the organization of the monthly masses in which requests are specially addressed to God for granting a first degree miracle by intercession of father Raymundo Jardón that is necessary for his beatification. Thanks to God every time the attendance to these solemn masses is more numerous, turning out the Cathedral as almost insufficient already to provide space to so many people.
"Our monthly bulletin, whose first number appeared the 6 of January of 1988, with an output of 300 units, has been extended in contents and size. To date there are 4.000 bulletins that month to month are distributed as so much in the mass of the first Sunday of month, as in several centers of health. The stamps are also sent along with the bulletins, to different places from Mexico, the United States, Central America, Sud America and also some to Europe. If you wish to help to spread up our bulletin and the oration, please inform us and we will send with pleasure the necessary material to you. "Friends of Father Jardón" proceeded to collect data by means of interviews to people who had known Father Raymundo, as well in this city as in Tenancingo, native land of Father Jardón and entrusted the preparation of his biography to Mr. Hermes Campos - who must enjoy God -,a book that was published in 1991 under the title THE WORLD OF FATHER RAYMUNDO with the edition of 5.000 units.
